I was extremely excited to see this movie, but the use of AI in the marketing ruined it for me. If they’re willing to use AI in the advertising, how can I be sure they didn’t use it in the actual movie? Honestly, this move lost them A LOT of revenue, in my opinion.

All this does is punish the filmmaker and the crew if we trust they didn’t use Gen AI. I’ve been waiting to see this movie but it’s shit like this that makes it hard to support the movie.

i wanted to see this on my birthday SO bad...my mom and i both wanted to watch this in theaters, and now im divided. on one hand, the movie looks incredible, and its a dinosaur movie that isnt Jurassic Park thst i can see in theaters. on the other hand, they used the bane of my existence to advertise it...i still may go see it, but as of right now, i dont know if i want to pay for a ticket to see it...

Unfortunately to me, it counts as using ai. Because even if we try to separate it from the movie and go despite the ad- if it does well they’ll think they can do it again and WILL use ai for marketing again. I feel bad for the production team but I won’t be watching, to me it’s the same entity.
