That’s my main issue with Roger’s voice like at times in older sonic games he’s in he just sounds like he’s a grown man trying to talk like a teenager I know it’s not his fault cause he’s a great actor but that’s just what it sounds like

Sonic is supposed to sound sad because he lost his friends when they were split up, not knowing if they were safe. Mid game Sonic is exhausted, corrupted. Deep and softer tone of voice was fine for this game.
