As of today after watching episode 6, I kinda pity Yousuke. It seems to me like he's acting this way so as to bring out Kihachi's competitive side and make him discover the age of electricity, maybe he made a promise to Seirouku? And I feel like he's trying to impress Kihachi, maybe cos he don't have a chance to impress Seirouku anymore and that thought makes me kinda sad geez.
