This is one of those comfort meals the whole family will ask for again and again! Creamy Steak Pasta Ingredients Steak * 1–2 NY strip steaks or ribeye steaks * 2 tbsp avocado oil * Salt and freshly cracked black pepper * 2 tbsp butter * 2–3 cloves garlic, smashed * A few sprigs fresh thyme Pasta & Sauce * 8 oz paccheri rigati pasta (or any short pasta) * 32 oz (900 g) chicken broth * 8 oz heavy cream * 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese * 1 medium onion, finely diced (or 1 large shallot) * 10 cloves garlic, minced * 1½ tbsp chicken bouillon * 1 tbsp sweet paprika * 1 tbsp smoked paprika * 1½ tbsp dried oregano * 1½ tbsp Italian seasoning * 1 tbsp garlic powder * Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste Optional Garnish * Fresh chives, chopped * Extra grated Parmesan cheese Instructions Prepare the steak: Take the steak out of the fridge 30–45 minutes before cooking. Pat it dry and season both sides generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Cook the steak: Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet over high heat. Once hot, cook the steak to your preferred doneness. During the last 1–2 minutes, add the butter, smashed garlic, and thyme, then continuously baste the steak with the melted butter. Remove and let it rest for 5–10 minutes. Cook the pasta: In the same skillet, sauté the onion (or shallot) for 1–2 minutes, then add the minced garlic and cook for another 30–60 seconds. Pour in the chicken broth and stir in the chicken bouillon, sweet paprika, smoked paprika, oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the uncooked pasta and cook until almost al dente, stirring occasionally. Finish the sauce: Stir in the heavy cream, then add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese has melted into a rich, creamy sauce. Add a splash of chicken broth if needed to loosen the sauce. Serve: Slice the steak against the grain and serve it over the creamy pasta. Garnish with fresh chives and extra Parmesan. #EasyRecipe #onepanmeal #EasyRecipener #onepotmeals
