The world is misled - Forgiveness isn’t about giving someone a pass from their actions, because even if you did, their actions are still being accounted for, beyond us…Forgiveness is a state of being which allows US to possess the ability to detach from experiences from our lives. Our forgiveness doesn’t create karmic balance, we don’t have such power. So anyone who is practising forgiveness, it has nothing to do with the other person, it’s everything to do with yourself. This lady saying I can’t forgive my dad, is basically saying I don’t forgive myself… she will always be trapped.
