@thelifeofthezigsdiy: It always happens during nap time! Shout out to Mimi for coming over and taking care of the kids while I fix the generator! thankfully it was just some bad fuel 😅 #DIY #fix #pov #generators
Why not get one of those like legit home generators? The ones that turn on automatically when the power goes out and self starts once a month for maintenance

hi i would say get a solar generator 3k watts or more to run home and use gas generator to charge up the solar generator. I have the ecoflow delta pro 3 so far so good. can run my home for 3 days before recharge. also I would invest in a duel fuel generator and run on propane runs cleaner and do have to worry about fuel going bad.

Store it with the fuel tank full and a good stabilizer in it. Leaving it empty can invite water as the weather changes and the tank sweats

It’s odd, I have a 4 year old no-name generator from HD that I use once or twice a year, no maintenance, yet it starts on the first pull every time.

I live in Houston and it’s going to be hurricane season next month for us. So glad my husband built a switch power box for generator. It turns whole house when we lose power. Last time it took 2 weeks without power. Make sure that generator has to be 15,000 p or more to turn on a 1500 square feet home. Good luck and take care.

For all my small carbureted engines I use ethanol free fuel with a bit of seafoam in it, they always start easily every time, even after sitting for a bit

shut off the fuel valve and let it run till it dies. leaves the carburetor bowl almost empty and it doesn’t get all gummed up. makes starting after 6 months easier. and add stabilizer to the tank.
