iv just split from my husband and he is taking them bowling today something iv been asking and asking him whilst together but he was always to busy on his phone! but now he can all of a sudden make time for his "family days!" it hurt and im angry but im not reacting

Yep. He told me if I left, he would “take the kids and leave me penniless.” And then he did. 8 years in family court of him using the kids as weapons and trophies. Finally free…they’re 23 and 25.

The visitation has become difficult. Trying to help my baby readjust when they get back home. He uses manipulation with her, badly. I hate this for her.

I'm making him take the kids occasionally overnight, so I can get some "rest". I want him to think I'll gladly let him have the children so he doesn't consider taking them as a weapon against me.
