Legit i've never had an interview without connections- there's almost no chance of getting hired unless you know someone it's awful

I’m a teen with a job and have been working since 14 that being said many kids my age are insanely irresponsible and the kids i work with are unreliable and sit on their phone all day, it sucks but it’s not just for no reason that places are less likely to take a chance on a teen

i only got my jobs because of connections. my mom was the manager at my first job, and my second my friends worked there.

Yeah I got a job bc of pure luck last year and a few months ago I told them I’m leaving for college so they asked if I knew anyone who wanted a job so I gave them one (they told him they weren’t looking so he got another job) and 4 months later (a week before a leave) they are saying they really liked his resume and are asking me to reach out again but like they had their chance 4 months ago and they can’t even train someone in a week

Also so many jobs have a thing were you can’t apply to them if your got rejected in the last 6 months. I literally can’t apply to any more jobs
