i don't get why the first guy didn't just stay like guard of the door cuz you clearly can't lock the door mid pee...like to me it just makes perfect sense to do that for you

Does nobody knock?? I knock at LEAST three times before even trying the door handle in a public restroom, walking in on someone is my nightmare. Also why did that third guy keep trying to force the door when it was clearly locked???

It drives me absolutely nuts when people don’t knock on bathroom doors. Locks fail, or don’t work, or people forget. JUST KNOCK! It’s just polite!!

not the same thing but I work for this family. they own the Airbnb I work out. there is a small downstairs bathroom in the living room. so it gets used a lot. and they're also a lot of small children and adults. usually around 50 people at a time. so when I have to use that bathroom I will knock multiple times wait for an answer no one replies so I go to open the door and nine times out of 10 there is somebody in there. like I knock multiple times. you're telling me out of the five times I knocked you did not hear in the small bathroom me knock one time to say I'm in here so I don't open the door on you

If the door is closed but you don’t know if someone’s there you open it super slowly so you give someone a chance to yell stop without locking eyes. Also, can you not stop mid stream?

This is mortifying 😳😂 my first day at a new job, I, for some reason, arrived at work and immediately threw up. Unfortunately, at this time, I had not spoken to anyone to find out where the toilets are. I'm in a kitchen area. I know it's going to happen. I can't stop it. The only option in my brain was to vomit in the sink. I cleaned as best as I could. Then, when meeting my new manager, I had to tell him what had happened so he could make sure it was cleaned properly. Later, I learned I had walked past not one, but 2 toilets. One of which was also single stall, so perfect for something so embarrassing. Astonishingly, he did not ask me to leave and never return 😂😂

I went to the restroom once at my dog friendly office. The women’s restroom is at the end of a long hallway. My 1 year old staffy pup BOLTED through the door because he had the zoomie and wanted to see me. I was also mid stream and could do nothing. My 60ish coworker walked down the 15 foot hallway while we made off and on horrifying eye contact and he just silently shut the door. It still pains me to this day.

dude something like this happened to me, i went to italy for vacation and we stopped by a mcdonalds so i went to the bathroom and i had locked the door YES LOCKED IT, i was 19 at the time and suddenly i look at the door and it shook and opened and there was a man in his like 40s and i was standing and i just stood there with the toilet paper i my hand mortified, then the man closed the door (genuinely no idea how he even opened it in the first place because he didnt look like maintenance) BUT THEN AFTER CLOSING THE DOOR. HE JUST OPENED IT AGAIN. THE AUDACITY A LIKE I LOOKED AT HIM IN DISGUST AND JUST SAID WTF BECAUSE I WAS SHOCKED HE OPENED IT THE 2ND TIME??? WHY ARE U DOING A DOUBLE TAKE AT MY CROTCH LIKE LEAVE PLEASE.
