@brittmudd.fit: I married my answered prayer. Some people will see a husband helping his wife recover from surgery. I see the man who has been by my side through every chapter of becoming who I am today. Before the weight loss. Through the weight loss. Through the maintenance. Now through recovery. He’s been my biggest cheerleader, my coach, my accountability partner, & the steady hand that’s held me up on the days I didn’t feel strong enough to stand on my own. He’s fought for me. He’s fought for us. He’s fought for the life we’ve spent years building together. This surgery may be one of the hardest things I’ve ever physically been through, but I can’t imagine walking through it with anyone else by my side. At 20 years old, God blessed me with a man I had no idea would become my greatest teammate, my safest place, & one of His greatest gifts in my life.
