im gonna be honest guys, its kinda dangerous to get a bpd diagnosis when youre a teenager bcuz youre a teenager🥺✌️hormones, stress, etc im 16 and do have all the criteria for bpd but im waiting to turn at least 18 before asking for the diagnosis unless you have really bad state i wouldnt recommend checking for it

honestly I was diagnosed verbally so I dont have an official document, just a paper to prove I have been diagnosed for college so I can get accommodations (extra time, headphones allowed in class, etc)

it's a preemptive diagnosis, not a full fledged BPD diagnosis. It means if left untreated it will manifest into bpd when you reach adulthood. "borderline traits" is a more accurate description of what you have, not BPD itself.
