boil pasta noodles and gold your hat over the pot with the hat stretcher in stretched a little larger than what you want. the starch from the pasta will help hold the shape.

from watching a guy make hats id say steam it teal good then use the hat stretcher. My Stetson is the same way. I dont have a good steamer though.

The hat stretcher will do the job on its own. My first Bailey hat still fits me to this day. Believe I went over a 1/4 inch. I just left it on quite awhile and did a little at a time💚
