Pest management business owner here: From I can see in the video, 1. your rats will have nest inside the ivy. You need to cut the ivy back. Hire a pest management professional to place rodent equipment in the ivy edge or in the ivy. 2. Your trees are up on the fence ledge. You need to cut your trees back a minimum of 2’ ft. A professional pest management technician will identify other rodent nesting areas once he inspects the property.

Roof rats. That’s what I do for a living. I seal up houses so roof rats don’t get into the attic anymore. Make sure to harvest your lemons as soon as they’re harvestable. And always, always, always pick up the dropped fruit. After a few days that dropped fruit starts molding, and fermenting, and the rats get drunk off of it and they’ll get addicted to that feeling and keep coming back for more and bring their family
