Here’s how you price your art . Value your time per hour and then how ever long the painting takes you +materials is how much the painting costs - if demand on your time increases or you want to keep the painting for yourself but can be swayed extra you can put your prices up because then it’s essentially who wants your time the most and that’s how you make your money . I would say start £25 an hour to pay yourself because you got the skills and that’s about what the average artist will be charging baseline if they are just doing hour long pieces for £30 a pop . It’s all business and networking - go sit at a fancy bar and order one drink to sip slowly draw in a sketchbook and sooner than later you’ll have people giving you their cards for their offices they want art for

amazinggg work!! great advice given here but try not to undersell, it can be tempting to get the ball rolling but remember the hours you put in & make sure you’re making a wage, maybe £20ph at least :) the. increase your pricing as your skills improve and demand increases. 💕💕

look up "künstlerfaktor" (artist factor/multiplier) it helps you calculate the prices based on the size of the painting as well as your experience and popularity as an artist :)

I'm an artist myself you should get an idea of what your customers are willing to pay before going all in I went for 1€ per cm at first so if my canvas was 40cm×40cm the painting would cost 40€ and for commissions you should add 20-35% value depending on the amount of details you have to draw you can always change the price if you feel like it's worth more

Honestly… your paintings don’t even look that bad. I’d purchase them if I had the space to put it anywhere 😁😁😁 I personally struggle with painting so I stick to markers and pencil and don’t let something discourage you ok? Pursue what you love and never stop creating what I believe to amazing artwork in my opinion ❤️❤️❤️
