Honestly, people love to throw around words like "weak" or "smart" when talking about Shinobu, but they completely miss the point of what actually makes her a Hashira. Saying she’s "weak" just because she can't decapitate demons is so stupid, as if physical strength is the only thing that matters in the Corps. And saying her intelligence just "makes up for it" strips away all the relentless effort, training, and sacrifice she actually put in. Shinobu didn't just magically happen to be smart; she studied, she literally created a whole new fighting style from scratch, and spent an entire year consuming wisteria poison just to guarantee Douma's downfall. In her fight against Douma, she wasn't just executing some desperate sacrifice or relying on her intelligence; she proved her speed, her willpower, and her absolute right to stand among the highest ranking slayers. She took every single limitation society and nature placed on her and forged them into a lethal weapon, proving once and for all that she was worthy of being a Hashira. 💜 Watch, people are still going to find a way to argue.

"But she still died"— well yes she died she really did, but mind you, "ALL" the hashiras wouldn't would even stand a chance against douma in an all-out battle. If anyone of them fought against douma they'd die without ever landing significant damage on him. Only shinobu who clearly understands the mass difference between their abilities and the obvious outcome got to think of such thing, which is to turn the outcome—her death—into a weapon.
