if you use blue magic you need a loc detox. thats basically vaseline (petroleum) which is water proof literally so your hair is not being hydrated.

Stop believing in these products esp if you have locs. Simple shampoo once a month. Oil your scalp when dry.

Water, Nairobi wrap foam, and a rosemary hair oil is all I use. I wash 1-2 times a week, (I sweat a lot) and use a clarifying shampoo once a month. Taking care of locs isn't complicated.

I use a mousse w/ oils in it ...It makes my hair soft and my locks don't feel stiff..it washes out so well with my lion locs shampoo bar..NEVER had a loc bath

I’ve had my locs 6 years and never did one. I wash my locs every two weeks, don’t use any heavy products. I try to tell people this.

I keep telling my clients I’ve had mine 5 years and have NEVER done a detox. Sometimes I even ask them, why do you feel like you need a detox, they don’t usually have an answer.
