EASY MEALS FOR 2, EP. 24 🍯 Honey Garlic Chicken Ingredients Chicken * 375g-400g boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces * 1 tsp salt * 1 tsp garlic powder * ½ tsp black pepper * ¼ cup cornstarch Sauce * 60g honey (about 3 tbsp) * 2 tbsp soy sauce * 1 tbsp oyster sauce * 1 tbsp rice vinegar * 19g garlic, minced (4–5 large cloves) * 12g green onion whites, finely sliced Cornstarch Slurry * 1 tsp cornstarch * 2 tsp water Garnish * Sesame seeds * Sliced green onion greens Directions 1. Toss the chicken with the salt, garlic powder, pepper, and cornstarch until evenly coated. 2. Heat enough neutral oil to lightly coat the bottom of a pan. Shallow fry the chicken over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside. 3. Reduce to medium heat. If needed, add a little more oil, then sauté the garlic and green onion whites for 30–60 seconds until fragrant. 4. Pour in the honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 1–2 minutes. 5. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens. 6. Return the chicken to the pan and toss until every piece is well coated. 7.
