I think ppl forget she had no idea what s€x was in the beginning, she was clueless..and although what she did was wrong and he is completely valid for his feeling you can’t solely fault her. He was experienced and should have properly explained to her what s€x was and how women get pregnant.

Yall they were both toxic but simon understood why daphne did what she did. She was confused, angry, vulnerable and felt tricked and lied too which she WAS. He used her innocence and the fact he knew she knew nothing to trick her. She was wrong to sa him but he forgave her cus he understood why she did it. If he can forgive her so can i. He loves her so much and he knew he hurt her and she apologized as well

In the books it explains that as an adult he’s mostly controlled his stutter, and only comes out when he’s feeling very extreme emotions like anger or excitement, where he’s so focused on something he isn’t focusing on his speech. In that moment he was so focused on Daphne he couldn’t focus on his speech, so he stuttered 😭

I just wished Simon would have told her his childhood and his trauma. In some way I know Daphne would have understood him. Which probably she wouldn't have forced him into keep going. I can understand deeply both sides even if it's wrong what she did. I can understand her frustration of wanting a family and being lied to and I can understand why he lied scared of probably repeating the same things his father made him feel. 😭😭I love this couple but I hate how things turned out if only he told her the truth.
