My son had his rod removed from his femur fracture… healing wasnt bad… he did end up having leg length growth issues after which is common and had to have another surgery after for that too. Just a heads up incase they haven’t mentioned that. My son is crazy flexible with that leg now too 🤪 wishing him a speedy recovery and sending good vibes your way!!
