For everyone hating on Phob. A lot of people haven’t truly understood Phob’s character. Phob is far from simple or one‑dimensional, he is deeply complex. Born into a poor family and raised as a servant, he saw firsthand how ordinary people struggled, and still is. Later, as a soldier serving his country, he came to realize even more clearly how little the nobility and monarchy had done for its people, and he resolved to change things. Not out of a hunger for power, but because he believed power should belong to the people, rather than remaining solely in the hands of royalty who ruled over the country and everyone in it. Phob is not merely someone who loves a prince. And the fact that he chose to fight for his country in no way diminishes the love he holds for Prince Tin. If anything, it cost him the most, because every step he took, he did it all behind the back of the very person he loved. I once saw a fan share an old Thai saying that perfectly encapsulates Phob’s character: “ชีวิตเพื่อชาติ หัวใจเพื่อเธอ” “My soul bleeds for the nation. My heart beats for you” And honestly? I couldn’t agree more. Phob’s love is sincere. He and Tin are simply victims of the circumstances they were born into. Tin had every right to feel hurt when he learned of Phob’s part in the revolution, but Phob will never be the "villain" and "traitor" so many insist on making him out to be. 🤧 Phob and Tin are the very picture of two worlds apart. Tin sees love as the most important thing, having grown up surrounded by wealth and privilege. But for Phob, love comes second; putting food on the table matters more. Neither is truly wrong. They simply see things differently because they grew up in such different lives. 😭
