Great explanation for where to begin! My disabled daughter and I live in a beautiful ‘tax credit’ secure loft apartment. An empty warehouse that was renovated with 2 bdrm/2 full baths, washer, dryer, dishwasher, hardwood floors, 14’ ceilings & 8’ windows. Not Sect. 8 (15 yr list in my state) or HUD but reduced rent. We pay $668/mo. and it’s accessible for my daughter’s wheelchair. Can’t beat that rent.

I’m on Section 8 due to my disability. I have been on it 9 years. Same complex haven’t moved. Here’s the deal though. I have a boyfriend. He makes too much to qualify. So if we want a two bedroom we will have to wait till he gets a job that pays enough. I would then lose Section 8. Right now we’re just trying to figure out our next steps.

nailed it..😁😁raise the minimum wage..and move evictions to 4years on credit. instead of 7years..not everyone qualifies for low income apartments..but are still poor..wait list is to long

this only works if you have kids if you're married other than that if you don't fit in any of those categories you're pretty much screwed or if your senior citizen age
