I’m not sure if he really meant the risk is unlimited but the person is saying the holdings need to perform at a “daily”positive percentage basis to benefit. For example if the industry fell by 20% one day, next day is 5%, total lost on leverage etf like this is 75% (20 x 3, 5 x 3) in just two days. That’s enough to take you out of options selling if there’s a reverse split. So the risk is you can have fractional shares if dip keep dipping. This is the risk everyone should understand before considering daily leverage ETF. Good when it’s good, bad when it’s bad but should accept
