@selfmasterycommunity: I’m going to say something that might sound strange coming from someone who teaches nervous system regulation. I think we’ve made calm too important. Breathing exercises, grounding, mindfulness — I teach all of them. But the purpose isn’t to create a life where you never feel anxious. It’s to help you build enough capacity to stay engaged in your life when things aren’t comfortable. Because think about the things that actually matter. Falling in love. Changing careers. Travelling somewhere unfamiliar. Standing up for yourself. Starting something you might fail at. They’re not necessarily calming experiences. They’re uncertain ones. So yes — use regulation when you need it. But then ask: “Now that I’m a little more grounded, what do I want to do next?” That’s the part we sometimes miss. Regulation isn’t the destination. It’s what helps you get back in the driver’s seat of your life.#findyourpurpose #selfmastery #personalgrowthjourney #nervoussystemregulation #stopoverthinking
