your marriage come first. always. in order for the kids to have a stable home and parents that work as a team your marriage has to come first. that does not mean my son doesnt matter it means he has a stable home with both parents thst work together. we dont do date nights out. we feed him dinner start the water while were putting him to bed and then when hes out we cook our dinner. set up the porch or livingroom with a table tv cooler with drinks if were outside so were not coming back inside waking him up. we make enough for him to eat too he just gets his crab legs the next day for lunch. i dont wanna spend my date night opening crab legs for him. but i will do it the next afternoon after weve rechsrged our connection to each other. you had that baby because you love the person your with so much you wanted a mini them or 2. you have to keep that relationship fed or youll be co parenting so fast

I agree , but there are some single parents or that people have one child and can make it work with someone where it’s not crazy. Cause if u had one kid or whatever your situation is u wouldn’t want someone to do that to u

I’m so thankful my stepmom married my dad even though he had/has a crazy ex. She’s been through a lot of hard but she’s our biggest blessing

She’s very correct it’s the exes that you have to deal with the ex-husband the ex-wife the ex-boyfriend’s the baby Dady’s the mamas. Those are the ones if you can’t get along with will make your life a living hell.

Let me say this as a single father with sole custody. God's order for the family is God, Husband, Wife, Children, Extended family, and then everyone else. And I am fortunate that his mother is not in his life by choice.
