@vertaconspiracyco: No AI. For decades, fans have seen the Nostromo's MUTHUR computer room only through carefully composed camera angles. The complete set was never shown as it truly existed. A few years ago, I acquired one of the last surviving original set pieces from Ridley Scott's Alien (1979): the actual doorframe to the MUTHUR room, purchased at a Propstore auction. That single artifact became the foundation for an exhaustive forensic reconstruction of the original set. In this video I break down the entire process—from analyzing the surviving production evidence, to building an accurate CG recreation of the room, recreating the original door at full scale, fabricating several of the Nostromo's iconic semiotic signs, and finally producing a fully photoreal virtual tour of the complete environment. Along the way, Draco and I couldn't resist recreating one of Alien's most memorable moments... As always, all music in this film was composed specifically for this project.
