One time my Dad and Mom took a trip to Jamaica and the police pulled them over then pointed a gun at the driver and made him (the driver) give him (the cop) money. My photographer Dad asked this cop if he could take a picture while the cop was in the process of robbing their driver , wtf.

This is in morroco!! We took some type of uber but had to get it 5 mins away from the resort then he pulled up and said “get in get in get in” to me and my sister. My parents were walking very slow so my dmbass self and sister just got in without questioning it. He had to reverse all the way to my parents because they were walking so slow then he explained to us why

as a blonde girl with blue eyes who lives in costa rica let me explain.... its because uber is techmically not legal here in Costa Rica and the uber drivers want people in his car to look like friends and family so this is why if you dont blend in they will ask you to do this.... if you were in an official taxi or even a rental car this wouldnt be an issue. but yeah there are random road blocks with policia requesting "donations" but they can spot a rental car by the plates so it doesmt matter what you look like 😁 as for removing plates, if you park illegally along a road- even if there are already 100 cars there tranisto will randomly show up and take all the plates off the cars. this is common near tourist places and beaches. we just never park along a road anywhere in CR.
