she was fully aware that she was in and out of postpartum psychosis and urgently needed help + should not have been left alone with her children. her husband neglected that cry for help. having responsibility for the circumstances that lead to the incident is in no way equivalent to committing the crime, but to act as if he did not fail to protect both his wife and his children is to completely ignore one of the key points of this case and the reason why the trial is continuing as it is currently.
