I have 12 embryos and I’m done having kids. I’ve been going back and forth on donation to a family but it’s tough because at the end of the day they are my “kids” and knowing someone else could raise them is hard.

My 7 month old baby is here because a couple in your position chose to donate their remaining embryos. I am beyond grateful to them, and my daughter will always (age appropriately) know how our family came to be. My DMs are open if you want to hear more from the recipient’s side.

I know it could be a blessing for a family but I feel I would always have shouts of.... are they OK, are they being loved like the ones under my roof, are they healthy. I know some people keep in touch but it would also kill me to leave what I know is my baby. Going through so to even get to where we are I feel I just couldn't do it. And I apologize for those who think otherwise as I might be selfish to think this, idk.

I had my son through embryo adoption!! So grateful for the lovely couple that gave this special gift to us. It also lead me to writing a children’s book for my son on how he came into the world!! ❤️🌎

We donated our remaining 3 embryos. And what made me comfortable and know it was the right choice was thinking about how if a family was at the point in their infertility journey that adopting embryos were their possible last chance at a baby, they have tried everything else to start a family of their own, and my babies(embryos) will be the most loved/wanted/cherished babies! Who were soo deeply wanted.

Im an older mom. My son is a product of embryo donation. We have a semi-open relationship with donor mom and all recipients of the embryos. We have our own private Facebook group. we send pics and videos amd updates on all the kiddos. My son is 1 of 9 genetic siblings. I thank God everyday for him. Prayers that you discover the right path.🥰

we donated our remaining embryos they had twin girls 16 years ago. it was a very hard decision but God reminded me these were not my children they were his so I prayed he would help me find the parents he chose for them. I don't regret my decision.

Our 3 year old son is the result of a donated embryo. He is the light of our lives. We went through 10 years of infertility and many miscarriages due to my poor egg quality. We are currently using additional donated embryos to try for a sibling. Whatever choice you make it right but just know if you donate your embryos you are literally making a couples dreams come true. I never thought I would be a mom. I am forever grateful.

You already know this but I figured I’d say it anyhow- Donors make it possible for those of us who are limited to what we have to work with make our dreams come true. After two failed rounds we can’t afford more and a donor would mean the difference between never and maybe after all ones resources are used up. If you decide to, you’re giving an amazing gift. But if not, that’s for nobody to judge.

I’m currently 19 weeks with a donated embryo after 15 years of practically all other possibilities. I’m forever grateful to that family. It’s a big decision to make and no matter what you choose, it’s the right one for you.

I did IVF but we used my eggs and my husband's sperm. We have two embryos left and we plan on transferring them and letting my body absorb them. Call us selfish if you wish, but we don't want anyone else having our embryos.

I struggled with infertility for 7 years and severe stage 4 endometriosis. My egg quality was bad so I could get pregnant but never make it out of first trimester. I made the decision to go for donor embryo with my doctor office. Best decision I made because I was able to carry my beautiful daughter full term. A huge Thanks to couples who make this difficult decision to donate, women like me who desperately want to not just be a mama, but experience the whole journey with pregnancy, can finally have that dream come true. I will forever be grateful to the ones who donated to me. My daughter is my whole world!

In a way I am so glad we did not have to make this decision. My mom always said how can you donate them to someone when you dont know how they will be treated. Any IVF baby I know is treated so dang good because we know what it took to get them here. They were so wanted and loved. I hope you find peace when you decide your answer 💝💝

My two year old daughter is a donated embryo. I totally understand why someone wouldn’t want to donate their embryos, but it changed our lives forever and we will never have the words to say how grateful we are ✨

my best friend is a single mom by choice and her 3yo is from a donated embryo. she lights up the world. we only got one embryo from our ivf cycle (currently 17 weeks!). in a way i’m thankful we weren’t faced with that difficult decision.

I think it'd be a very hard decision and a lot of things to consider. I'm very grateful for my donor as I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant. We had too many abnormalities with our one embryo that we got. Donor was our last option.
