What’s up coach! I love wearing gloves, but I run into the problem of the padded gloves being ridiculously hot. And if the gloves are thin they rip super easy. Kinda gotta pick your poison. Haven’t found any gloves that have lasted me over 3 games.

Personally I don’t go a game without them, it may sound soft but I feel like they benefit me on both sides of the ball. The biggest issue is probably how how hot they make your hands long term in the games and I feel like the best gloves I have had aren’t breathable but the ones that are breathable lack in quality.

When I played I wore LB gloves bc the OL gloves didn’t have a color scheme for my team and I didn’t need the super bulkiness for DE

My son is a center and wears a Wilson padded lineman glove on his non snap hand. He has always wanted to try wearing a glove on his snap hand but the overall majority of gloves have the tacky receiver grip palms. Really wish they would bring back the padded lineman gloves that had the leather palm. Can’t find any. Using the tacky grip palm gloves he can’t use to snap with but wants that hand to also be protected.

As a former center I would wear a glove on my non snapping hand but only when gloves is the same color as opponents jersey

I’ve always liked wearing padded receiver gloves like the Nike Superbad. Helped grab chest plates but also reduced finger and hand wear and tear in my experience. As a center I hated never being able to really wear a glove on my snap hand
