Please help, I really need some advice. Deep down I love medicine and would pursue it, but part of me keeps thinking I’m not smart enough. I start my first year of college next month and I’m already on the nursing (RN) track, but I don’t know if I should stick with it or pursue MD/DO. I work as a CNA in a hospital and love helping patients and nurses, but whenever I see the residents and interns, I can’t help but wish that was me. I’m getting so anxious about this to the point where I can’t sleep because I’m terrified of choosing the wrong path and regretting it. I genuinely love both nursing and medicine, but I just don’t know which path is right for me. How did you know medicine was right for you? 🤍
