that metal tube is not supposed to come down like that ,that's defective,just the air bag material is supposed to drop out ,not the metal container ,that could have been deadly ,contact The HR dept ,not your local dealer

Welcome to Stellantis quality..lol!. Yeah! There was a recall as airbag inflator would explode in parked cars when the internal temperature would exceed °120. Jokes aside that recall happened like 10 years ago with Takata airbags for a lot of car brands. Obviously whoever owned that car never did the recall repair and completely fuq'd you over. Or you didn't do the repair and just found out why you should've.

Send your VIN to the dealership and ask them to check for recalls, Toyota and Dodge both had major recalls for airbags a few years ago
