Yeah and also the “13/50” argument is misleading because when adjusted for socioeconomic factors like demographic age distribution, spatial geography, and neighborhood level economic concentration, the idea that race itself drives violence collapses because with these fair adjustments it shows that no race is inherently more likely to commit more crime than another

"census bureau" yea except the more non white cities are more likely to not report data to the FBI, thus they're being excluded from the data set. LA, Chicago, Las Vegas, and other large non white cities do not report data to the FBI. Your data set is missing an important variable

I think it tens to be a case of “more religious usually = more conservative,” more conservative tends to mean less social supports (Republican governance), which leads to more violent crime and homicide is one type of it.
