I stayed in the Exuma last year. Loved the beaches. The negatives were the lack of a real grocery store and awful roads. I owned property in Turks and Caicos and it is much more developed with stores and dining compared to Exuma.

The guy that took it over is very arrogant. Stood me up 3 times to view a new build. They have over doubled the price from the previous owner. They put over a 20 % tip on top of the vat then still expect another tip. They were rude I did my honeymoon at the old owners and place has a special place in my heart but I will not be going back. Way too many great places in exumas to be treated the way they treat guest.

I love Exuma!! We have stayed there at Peace and plenty (right beside Baymahni) multiple times on both the mainland and stocking island. It’s definitely a hassle staying on stocking island but it is very beautiful
