When your mom tells you what happened to you didn’t happen, you don’t talk about it, because our family is a fine, upstanding member of the church of Christ. Slapped my face every time I mention it. A LOT of people are commenting they escaped the cults as well and are ultra liberal now, including me. It's like we had a "revelation"... that we were in a cult and RAN instead of doubling down. Kudos to ask who have escaped, may we be there to catch the next escapees to help them along the way!
