Okonomiyaki, who? 😆 Thanks @gondirtin @karissalynne for letting me borrow your babies for this video they’re the sweetest 🥰😍 ⬅️ Recipe: Breakfast Okonomiyaki - [ ] 2 cups thinly shredded cabbage  - [ ] 1 1/4 cup water  - [ ] 3 slices bacon, cut in half  - [ ] 1 cup Flour  - [ ] 2 large eggs  - [ ] 1 tsp Dashi powder  - [ ] 1/2 tsp kosher salt  - [ ] 1/4 tsp black pepper  - [ ] 1/4 tsp baking powder - [ ] Cooking oil - [ ] 2 tbsp Oyster sauce  - [ ] 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce  - [ ] 1 1/2 tbsp Ketchup  - [ ] 2 tsp Sugar  Garnishes:  - [ ] Dried bonito flakes  - [ ] Pickled red ginger  - [ ] Seaweed  - [ ] Kewpie mayo  1. In a bowl, mix together dashi powder water and two eggs. Season with salt and pepper. 2. Add 1/4 tsp baking powder and  flour, half a cup at a time to slowly incorporate and get rid of all of the clumps.  3. Add shredded cabbage and mix until everything is coated with the batter. Let batter rest for 15 to 20 minutes. 4. In a pan or griddle, heat a generous amount of oil to pan fry the okonomiyaki batter. For the batter onto the pan on medium high heat. You can make this into batches or one large batch works.  5. Layout strips of bacon to the uncooked side of the okonomiyaki. Once the bottom side is golden, carefully flip to cook the other side. 6. To make the sauce combine oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and sugar. Mix well and set aside. 7. Once each side golden drizzle sauce, sprinkle dried bonito flakes, furikake, pickled ginger and kewpie mayo.
