Yeah can we talk about why they like to do shit the most complicated way also HAVE to show the work??? If the answer was right why do we have to show how we got it??? Can we also discuss how they actually made math MORE difficult cause what I learned isn’t what they were teaching my kids and to add when I was in school and didn’t pay attention to the teacher, read the book I actually did way better than when I paid attention to the teacher

This is why it is so difficult for Parents to help with their kids homework. My son had a math question, Why does 2+2=4? Son was having hard time understanding and me too. So wrote, It just does.
