@apexdogtraining: If your dog refuses to, is scared or just doesn’t go into their crate enthusiastically, this is what I would do. You can replace the food with anything your dog loves. Crates are cruel, and illegal in certain jurisdictions for a reason. They also foster unhealthy behaviours and psychological conditions in dogs according to research. It’s a uniquely American thing to think leaving a dog in a crate which is barely big enough to contain them is OK. Please do not attempt to import this trend to Australia.
