People have to understand Rogue craved normalcy. She could not visualize a healthy relationship where her touch could permanently maim or unalive Gambit. Her touch has brought her nothing but trauma and destruction. She was even afraid to help deliver Jean's baby because of it and the risk of the glove slipping. It's no surprise there was constantly a cat & mouse thing with Gambit. This is why she had a thing with Magneto. Because she could finally feel normal, and since her touch didn't harm him, she thought he was supposed to be the one for her. But she even said that they did not align on a mental level. He had too many demons of his own, and her heart was truly for Remy. Remy shouldn't have expected exclusivity when there wasn't any for years, and he didn't. You know how deeply Rogue loves Gambit when she was willing to trade her life for his with NO hesitation. 💛💚

not that big a deal gambit has a past with many women they never truly showed it outside belladonna wish they showcased it more its not just about rogue for him

And you are not on Magneto’s ass for trying to go after someone who is probably younger than his daughter(probably by 2 years) because with the timeline Magneto is pretty predatory. and Rogue is confused about her feelings.
