This gave me a new outlook on speaking and professing the name of Jesus to others, like I do but sometimes I get nervous because I can’t quote many scriptures from the top of my head, listening to the fact that non of the apostles did either it was all in the making. That makes me happy and also seeing this brother do it so comfortably it’s not just on him it’s in him!

To everyone in the comments who feels discouraged because they have trouble memorizing scripture I want to encourage you brother and sisters. It is the Holy Spirit that lives within us who will bring to remembrance the scriptures, but it is also our duty to saturate ourselves in the word whether that’s opening up your Bible or a Bible app on your phone, listening to the audio Bible as you go about your workday or your commute to work letting it seep in you learning how to read the Bible well by understanding the historical context who was the writer who was their audience and what is it we can take out of those passages and apply to our life when we learned to approach scripture that way with open hearts and prayer. It’s amazing what God will do and helping us. Learn his word how it’ll be written on our hearts, these are promises from the word of God, so please be encouraged when you’re struggling to remember scripture or understand it or apply it to your life lean into the word get into a God fear Bible believing Bible preaching church I highly recommend expository sermons as opposed to topical ones it really helps you learn and understand when you’re going verse by verse with your pastor and congregation and bringing out that Eisegesis study and preaching when I was younger I had the same type of problem I would get blown away by watching young people on Bible trivia type game shows and love how much they knew the word and I would feel discouraged that I would never be able to learn it in the last five years I have listened to the audio Bible over 25 times in different translations and I’ve read through the Bible cover to cover at least four times when you ask God to make you hungry for his word and you make that your meal priority every day before anything else I promise you, you will learn it and learn how to understand it and articulate it well to others so again I say be encouraged
