they will call "passing" trans people stereotypes and reinforcing gender roles, but when a trans person doesn't conform to gender norms then they're quirky women/men and not valid . This logic never once is applied to cis people because of transphobia.

all these people in the comments need to stop being such negative nancies — As a trans man myself who uses they/them pronouns the amount of people expecting all transgender people to have transitioned is fucking ridiculous. Since when was that a requirement? do we realize not everyone has the ability to transition when they want to? I still haven't transitioned because I quite literally cannot right now, being under 18 still. not to mention the expenses that go into the transition process?? people aren't gonna pull money out of their ASSES to buy everything they need. that's impossible. I don't have the money to buy the stuff which is needed during the transition process myself. I've been out as a transgender male for 5 years and haven't transitioned yet??? let's stop limiting the community to people who actually HAVE transitioned. I assure you the community isn't falling apart because someone hasn't been able to get the process started yet. Get a grip.
