my late grandfather said he learnt a lot from those times. he was proud among so many,he got to learn new languages and years later it inspired him as a young man to be in uniform.

Her's stories sounds sweet but we all know the reality from our grandfather and grandmother who had lived and survived during the World war II. They did tried to govern this country under Japanese flag.But the suffering and the misery were overwhelming than the sweet talk. May be the taxi driver' ancestors live during the happy hours not during the heavy attacked and the invasion,where Bruneian had to run for cover they did being torcherd too. What past has past and became history. Just Move on.
