I think whats really interesting about this is during the interviews, people were asked if they would rather be a guard or a prisoner. every single one of them said prisoner.

Well I do think that labels and power or lack of power, can change people’s behavior, the fact that he tainted his own experiment, tells me that he had already decided how labels, power, or a lack of power should change a person’s behavior.

They were told they COULD but the guards were not told they had to .. did not say they were required … did not make it mandatory… so the guards did that on their own influenced by each other! He is right! 🤔🤔

That's not an experiment! That would be called torture! Of course someone's behavior would change and they're lucky none of them snapped and did something to them. For anybody to think what they did was ok or in the name of science is crazy as hell!
