I think its just cuz Sega refuses to actually say whether or not mizuki is ACTUALLY trans and instead leaves it heavily implied. mizuki has so much potential and is good trans representation, but would be even better if Sega used she/her pronouns for her and actually stated her gender and that she is trans

as much as i love mizuki's writting, i just wished that their writting was executed better. like the more i think about it, mizu5's writting wasn't even that good, it almost started to feel like angstslop for the fans to eat up and left no crumbs. it would've been SO SO SO much more meaningful if sega just let mizuki flat out say to ena that "oh, ena I'm trans. i hope you accept me the way i am. i was too scared all these year to tell you, I'm scared of you judging me." and ena accepted her and learn more about mizu's gender. dude that's like better than mizuki cryinh and crashing out AND NOT HAVING THEIR SECRETS OUT YET DESPITE IT'S BEEN 7 FOCUS EVENT. not only was it much better, it also create representation, awareness for people that trans people is still people and they should be accepted no matter what they are. this could change alot of people's perspective on transgenderism BUT NOOO SEGA WAS TOO SCARED, they decided TO DRAG IT LONGER SO THEY COULD GET MORE ENGAGEMENT HELLO?? AT THIS POINT, MIZUKI'S GENDER WOULD NEVER BE REVEALED NOT EVEN THE GAME IS ENDING, NOT EVEN WHEN THE SUN IS ABOUT TO SWALLOW THE EARTH, LEAVE THAT UP FOR FUTURE ME TO SEE. like sega oml if you wrote a character that was meant to represent a small minority of people but you will get backlash from your fanbase because of it, that's a risk you need to take bro. because if you don't, DON'T FUCKING WRITE IT.
