Hey everyone! Just some context since this video has gotten way more attention than I expected 😂 This was 4 years ago when my fiancé and I took a trip to Hawaii and hiked multiple trails throughout the week (Koko Head, Olomana, Manoa Falls, and others) This clip is only a very short portion of the hike where we got caught in bad weather. About 80% of the hike was clear and we were having a great time. Yes, I was scared here but I also didn’t want my fear to stop me from completing something I wanted to do. My fiancé supported me the entire way. Yes, he was laughing and trust me, I was laughing too once we made it through 😂. Mostly at the craziness of the moment. I wanted to keep going on my own, and had either of us felt we were in legitimate danger or that I didn’t want to continue, we would have turned around. It was a crazy experience that we still laugh about now. I appreciate everyone’s concern though! ❤️

I hike with my husband often-and he would NEVER do this. Granted, we’ve definitely been in some sketchy situations and weather (nature does what it does sometimes) but we talk each other through moments of panic, not laugh. He waits for me if I’m having a moment of self doubt. You are literally crawling with exposure on both sides and probably freaking tf out (hiking poles help mentally when it’s windy too fyi). Hiking should be a challenging yes, but this is reckless if you’re way out of your comfort level. I’m sorry that you experienced this🫂

Leave him. I did this hike with safety equipment and a team of women who knew what they were doing when I lived there people died up there, he needs to be dealt with
