would love to see more tiffins from different cuisines in India! I suspect the leaves in water are sort of a palate cleanser between all the distinct tastes of the smokey sausage, spicy salad, and the chili beef

The leaves dish might be Thlai Tlak which are eaten with the rice and chilli chutney. It helps reduce the spiciness or is eaten as a palate cleanser. 😊

may I ask, do you finish all that tiffin for lunch? because for me it seems like a huge amount of food but maybe it's a cultural thing and I'm not familiar with it. I personally would have to split that between lunch and dinner.
