@gigi.sahm: 1. I don’t ask what he wants for dinner. He is 3. He is not the household menu planner. I decide. He eats it or leaves it. No separate meal. Ever. 2. I don’t praise him for existing. No “you’re so smart” or “you’re so special” as a daily practice. That builds a child who needs validation to feel okay. I praise effort. Not identity. 3. I allow screen time if it’s calming. Never more than an hour a day. Only something low-stimulating, like the Pok Pok app, calm screen time isn’t the enemy. Overstimulation is. 4. I don’t explain more than once. Explaining under pressure teaches him to argue every reason. Reasoning happens in calm moments. Limits stay firm in the storm. #pokpokpartner #fyp #momlife #toddlermomlife #sahm
