I was having surgery done and half way through I just woke up and tried to lift my head to see what was happening and I just remember someone’s hand on my forehead and they said “what could you possibly want to see? Go to sleep” I was out again.

My anesthesiologist did so well for my knee surgery that the nurses had to station someone to shake me to breathe post op. I insisted on letting me sleep and they said unless I wanted it to be forever I had to stay awake. 😅

actually the opposite for me I was out for a couple hours after a minor surgery my mom was crying bc I was so out my body was limp and I wasn’t waking up when I woke up the first this I said was “it’s fucking cold in here” while my mom was sobbing

Went to get my wisdom teeth surgically removed. I said “I’m not going to sleep”.. anesthesiologist said “yes you are. Nighty night”. I woke up AT HOME. It wasn’t no damn ‘nighty night’. Mf put me in a coma

went for surgery. I was taking too long to go under so we were just chatting. at some point my anesthesiologist (male) noticed first that my gown was slipping and was rushing to cover me back up. I said "you're literally about to see my insides I don't care if y'all see my outsides" and he lost it, then I was finally out. but then I woke up in the middle of surgery, mumbled something about my insides (I was asking to see them) and all I heard was "girl bye" before I was out again
