Buffet for breakfast at hotels is unheard of in the West.. ths most you can find is pancakes, cereals, eggs, sausages with coffee or juices in US.

At hotel breakfast buffets in Asia, I always get a plate of western food and a plate of local food and a plate of fruit, I've never thought of 3 plates as too much
