when my friend was having a bad day and there was an upcoming ab something that happened she asked me to come over and she was having a terrible day and I told her I will but she didn't know that my parents were both in a terrible mood and I literally had to beg them to let me go and they started screaming at me and I was on the earg of crying but I knew she needed me more so I finally convinced them after 30 mins but it was worth it for her I love her so much she is such a kind amazing person and I would do anything for her

And then people find you too annoying and then they drop you and talk shit about you when you thought you were their best friend cs they were yours and then you tell them a secret and then in the same day boom half the class knows you spend more than half of your allowance on them and they repay you back with absolutely nothing

i felt this. until i had my daughter. now i wont do anything for anyone but everything for her. it’s more draining trying to be that person for everyone. and i learnt that i dont need to impress or live by anyone else’s expectations except my own and my daughters.
