My experience is good luck putting anything on a USB stick these days... most corporates have them locked down and you're more likely to be successful having it on a share

wait a minute wait a minute, back in my day we could get systernals, all of it, in one download, what happened to that? like all of those tools that you just mentioned and a lot more. it was just called systernels, did somebody compile all of it into one program back in the day. I mean, that's totally possible, it could be all separate downloads but maybe somebody put it all together somehow, I don't know, but I downloaded it and I used it a lot!

Only 2 people are allowed to use USB drives in our company. The guy imaging laptops and the video editor. Even adding someone to the USB allowed list fires emails to the security triggers team and will get immediately questioned by the CIO.

I stg multiple windows desktops is underused and underrated especially on laptops. I can use them on my laptop to still have "3 monitors" to switch between using trackpad gestures or keyboard shortcuts.

As an incident responder, I always had sysinterals on a thumb drive in my go-bag. Especiall procmon, process explorer, and autoruns.
